Help us make a difference.

We are truly a grassroots organization, and we know how to make a little go a long way! That said, Strafford County is a uniquely important voting ground within the state, and New Hampshire is a key state in national elections. Because of this, every little bit MATTERS. Donations and support can literally make a world of difference.

Please consider making a secure online donation through our ActBlue account.

3/22 Spring Fundraiser Postponement

Out of an abundance of caution, due to uncertainly related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, the Strafford County Democratic Committee has decided to postpone our spring fundraiser, which had been scheduled for March 22nd at the Rollinsford American Legion. We want to be proactive and take sensible measures to limit the potential spread of this highly infectious virus, keeping in mind in particular those with underlying medical conditions.

You can find safe and reliable information regarding the coronavirus at these websites: www.coronavirus.gov and www.dhhs.nh.gov/dphs/cdcs/2019-ncov.htm

We may be postponing our spring fundraiser, but we can’t postpone our work to elect Democrats down and up the ticket that will expand access to healthcare, strengthen protections like paid family leave, and adequately fund public research universities.

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate at our winter social!

PAST EVENT: Leo Lessard Memorial Blood Drive

Celebrate life and make a difference by giving blood. Leo was the recipient of multiple transfusions through the spring and summer of 2017, giving him more time to enjoy life and to spend time with his loved ones.

Please help other families get this precious time with their loved one. An hour of your day can give months or years of precious time to a family.

Thank you to everyone who participated!

Leo was always giving back to his community and to the people around him. He gave back not only with his lifelong dedication to helping others through politics but also with his genuine kindness and concern for everyone around him – he was never too tired or busy to help someone in need. Leo’s time here would have been lessened had it not been for the blood transfusions he received. He was able to continue to contribute to his community as well as spend time doing the things he loved, such as boating on Milton Three Ponds in his antique Chris-Craft boat and spending time with his loved ones.

Leo’s family is extremely grateful for the extra time they had with him. Because of the generosity of blood donors, they had another Fathers Day, birthday and many days spent together enjoying each other’s company. Please help other families get this precious time with their loved one. An hour of your day can give months or years of precious time to a family.

The need for blood doesn’t end when our event does. You can give any time! Click the button to find a Red Cross blood drive near you!
