Join us at our annual picnic!

DATE: Sunday, August 18th
TIME: 12:30 – 3:30pm
PLACE: Rollinsford American Legion Park, Foundry Street, Rollinsford, NH

Please join us as we gather with fellow Democrats to chat about politics, listen to 2020 candidates, and eat some great food!

We’ve worked so hard in 2019 to build the organization we have across the county—thanks to you! This picnic is our big annual fundraiser, and oh boy, do we have a lot planned for this election cycle. So come join us! It’s always the Democratic event to be at.

Follow the link below to buy your tickets or to become a beloved sponsor! It all helps us as we build the infrastructure needed to hold the seats we have and to expand out for more – we are so thankful for your support!

You can purchase your sponsorship level online though our secure ActBlue site, or by mailing your check directly to Strafford County Democratic Committee, PO Box 247, Dover, NH 03821

Tickets go from $20 to $25 on August 11th, so don’t wait!

The Strafford County Democrats began when a group of grassroots Democratic activists aged 17 to 70 gathered to promote a Pro-Democratic message during a November election. In the following years, the Strafford County Democratic Committee (SCDC) was officially formed with the purpose of improving the quality of life, happiness, and well-being of all people through the democratic process of government.

We work to preserve the true progressive ideals of the Democratic Party through outreach, education, voter registration efforts, and local candidate support. We serve every town in Strafford County: Dover, Durham, Lee, Madbury, Barrington, Rollinsford, Rochester, Farmington, Milton, Middleton, New Durham, Somersworth, and Strafford.

This site was created to provide resources to voters and to support the Democratic committees and candidates of Strafford County. Follow us on Facebook to stay in touch with us!

Knowledge Wanted!

The Strafford County Democrats are looking for volunteers willing to help provide legislators with expertise, topical knowledge, and/or research regarding bills on which they must vote. This is an opportunity to positively affect legislation in New Hampshire as you help our representatives prepare for new bills.

If you love facts, getting to the bottom of an issue, well-documented research, and educating others, please fill out our survey, and please share. Thank you!
