Enjoy delicious peachy items and hear from our keynote speaker, Dr. Benjamin Carter Hett. Dr. Hett’s books include The Death of Democracy and The Nazi Menace, both of which draw alarming parallels to our time. His December 31, 2023 opinion piece for the LA Times is titled: “2024 could be the year America fends off dictatorship, or invites it in.”
Since 2003, Hett has been a history professor at Hunter College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York. He makes regular appearances as a speaker, on radio, television, and podcasts, and in historical documentaries.
