About Ty

My name is Ty Wyman, and I am running for State Representative out of Ward 4 in my hometown of Rochester because I believe that the town I grew up in can better serve the people who call it home. I am a dual major in justice studies and political science at the University of New Hampshire. I am inspired to run for office partly due to the campus carry bill. Bills like this show, time and time again that House and Senate Republicans have bills that are so wholly out of touch with young people.

Priorities

• Lowering the cost of housing by building new units and prioritizing the creation of smaller, affordable first-time homes and apartments.
• Investing in public education on a statewide level to even the state’s educational playing field and lift the tax burden off of local communities 
• Lower property taxes by creating new sources of revenue for the state
