Scott Shepard is a retired scientist, technology executive, and business leader who has spent his career solving complex problems and building long-term strategies. He now brings that experience to public service in Barrington, where he serves on the Planning Board and Advisory Budget Committee and chairs the town’s Capital Improvement Program Committee.

Scott is running for State Representative because he believes New Hampshire needs practical, evidence-based leadership focused on results, not ideology. 

Priority Issues

• Responsible state budgeting, including long-term planning and protecting taxpayers from state-to-local cost shifting 
• Bringing practical, independent problem-solving to Concord instead of partisan politics
• Building a stronger economy and workforce so young people can build careers and families in New Hampshire 
• Making New Hampshire more affordable, especially housing, childcare, health care, and property taxes 
• Strengthening public education while improving outcomes and ensuring state government meets its responsibility to local schools 
• Expanding housing supply and infrastructure while preserving the character of our communities
