Marilyn is passionate about home ownership and was a real estate broker for many years with Kendall Real Estate, helping people acquire single family homes, multi-family homes, and land. She then worked as a bank loan officer with Farmington National Bank (now TD Bank) helping people finance property. She has also owned apartments in Rochester for over 50 years, so she is very aware of every aspect of housing in New Hampshire—including how it is affecting people of all ages.
Marilyn is a member of Rochester Rotary. She is happily married to George “Read” Cheyne and is a mother of two wonderful children and grandmother of four. She is running for State Representative as she believes strongly in women’s rights and is concerned about the direction Free Staters are taking New Hampshire.
Marilyn is a strong supporter of women’s rights, sensible gun legislation, and public education.
