Kathy MacLeod – Mother, grandmother, public school supporter, perennial gardener, proud cat lady. 50-year resident of Strafford County. Paying attention to politics since the 1960s.

The people of Rochester are talking. I’ve been listening.

The people of Rochester are looking for commonsense solutions for everyday issues. My goal is to be a VOICE for the most vulnerable in our community… the children, the elderly, the homeless, all those in need of special services. I would like to address FUNDING FAIRNESS as it relates to so many of the issues affecting New Hampshire.

About Kathy MacLeod

The loss of so many of our freedoms in recent years was beginning to give me a sense of powerlessness – until I realized I have the skills and dedication to make a difference. As a mother, I spent decades advocating for my Special Needs children, dealing with their pre-existing conditions and navigating health insurance with all of its limitations. I have seen first-hand how difficult it is to access mental health care in New Hampshire. I have also worked on the front lines as a volunteer, addressing food insecurity and housing scarcity in Strafford County.

Knowing about the issues is one thing. Having experienced and observed them first hand is another. I will leverage my experiences—and my knowledge of the system—to work on state and local issues that will make a difference, for my family and for yours. I look forward to working for you in the New Hampshire House.
