Representative Billie Butler proudly represents Somersworth and Rollinsford in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. A lifelong New Hampshire artist, community organizer, and advocate, Billie has spent her life fighting the system for working people, public education, the arts, and LGBTQIA+ equality. As one of New Hampshire’s openly transgender state legislators, she has become a leading voice for dignity, fairness, and democracy, standing up to attacks on civil rights while never losing sight of the kitchen-table issues that matter most: affordable housing, livable wage jobs, and the freedom for every Granite Stater to live with dignity, free from state-mandated conformity and government oppression.

Fighting to end corporate tax giveaways that leave up to $1.2 billion on the table and to block new Republican cuts to the Business Enterprise Tax while state revenues are already sagging.
