One River. Three Towns.
Welcome to the Oyster River Democrats! The Oyster River Democrats are your local voice for shared Democratic values in our community. We are a collaboration of the town Democratic committees of Durham, Lee, and Madbury, NH, working alongside the Strafford County Democratic Committee to support voter registration, community outreach, and local candidates committed to a stronger, fairer New Hampshire.
We are a welcoming and open group. You don't need to be a registered Democrat to get involved. Whether you're a lifelong Democrat, newly interested in local politics, or simply want to make a difference in the Oyster River community or the surrounding area, there's a place for you here.
Come to a meeting, join the conversation, and join our mailing list to stay up to date on local events, meetings, and ways to get involved. Together, let's build the kind of community we all want to live in.
The Oyster River Democrats meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. We usually meet at the Durham Public Library, but this is subject to change.
