Andru Volinsky is a New Hampshire lawyer and public advocate. Over the years, he has used his skills and success to advocate for citizens of all ages and from all walks of life. Andru has won several awards for his ability to create positive change, including Concord Monitor’s “One Hundred People Who Shaped the New Hampshire Century” and NHPR’s “25 Most Influential People in the last 25 Years.” He is uniquely qualified for the Executive Councilor position.

NH Senate

wattersDavid Watters
David was chair of the Strafford County Democratic Committee prior to his election as a State Representative in 2008. As a State Rep, David fought for education funding, economic growth, environmental issues, and marriage equality. When he was re-elected in 2010, he worked to balance the state budget with no new taxes while preserving essential services. When he was elected State Senator in 2012, David vowed to restore civility to Concord. Watters established himself as a pragmatic leader willing to work across party lines to bring people together.

NH House of Representatives

Gerri Cannon
A resident of NH for over 40 years, Gerri Cannon currently lives in Somersworth. Gerri, a parent and grandparent with business degrees from Hesser College and Southern NH University, has worked various jobs as she adapted to our changing economy. She has also worked with many non-profit groups over the years,  granting wishes to chronically ill NH children, helping families of LGBT youth, fighting for human rights in Concord and volunteering for the UCC Church. Gerri currently serves on the Budget and Negotiations Committee of the Somersworth School Board and helped write the current NH Democratic platform. She looks forward to representing her constituents.

Wendy Chase
Wendy Chase a New Hampshire native five generations strong. She is a first-time candidate running for New Hampshire State Representative of District 18, representing Rollinsford and Somersworth. A Rollinsford resident & Rollinsford small business owner, Chase was named GBCC Business Leader of the Year in 2017. Wendy is a graduate of the NH Leadership Series – Institute on Disabilities. She is a strong advocate for others who fear their voice is not being heard.

Cecila Rich
Cecilia Rich is a married mother of two. She has worked both as a writer and a publisher and currently partners with her husband at his small business, providing handcrafted, custom drumsticks to musicians all over the world. As a 27-year survivor of multiple sclerosis, Cecilia is grateful for the assistance she has received to help her deal with her disabilities, and she uses this experience to widen the path for others as a peer counselor. Cecilia looks forward to serving the residents of Rollinsford and Somersworth and vows to take local interests to heart when she is elected to the State House.

Catt SandlerCatt Sandler
Catt Sandler is a uniquely qualified candidate in our state. She is a veteran, a former police officer (working her way up from patrolman to Superintendent of Police), a former lawyer (specializing in family law), and a Director or Labor Relations on the corporate level. Catt has first-hand experience with many issues that are so important to our state – veteran’s issues including PTSD and handicap accessibility, family issues including financial alternatives to bankruptcy, equipping our police with the information and support they need to deal with the opioid crisis, and more.
